Pack 93 Spring 2026 Campout: Jackson Lake Island, Millbrook, AL

We are excited to go to Jackson Lake Island (AKA “Goat Island”) this spring! It’s about an hour and 15 minutes south of Hoover.

Webelos and AOLs will camp Friday and Saturday nights. Everyone else is welcome to camp both nights but only required Saturday night. We’ll have plenty of activities and good food, a campfire and s’mores.

Schedule:

FRIDAY

Please arrive after 4pm and before dark (6:30 pm).

  • If you’ve signed up to let us know you’re coming on Friday, we’ll have food available.
  • Otherwise, please eat before arriving.

SATURDAY:

  • 7:30 am: Breakfast
  • 12 pm: lunch will be provided for those who camped out Friday night.
  • One night campers – please arrive before 2pm to set up camp. Bring your own lunch.
  • 2 pm: start of the camp program
  • 2:30 pm – 5 pm: Den Time and preparation of skits.
  • 6 pm: Dinner
  • Afterwards will be a campfire ceremony with skits and s’mores

SUNDAY:

  • 7:30 am: Breakfast
  • 9 am: Meeting
  • 9:30 am: Clean up camp
  • 10 am: Teardown and return home

Please contact your den leader if you need to borrow a tent or camping equipment, or have any questions!

  • Class A (if you have it) and Class B (t-shirt) Uniform
  • Reusable water bottle with your name on it
  • Tent

  • Sleeping bag/blankets (doesn’t have to be expensive, but should go to 40-30 degrees)
  • Sleeping pad, air mattress or cot

  • Closed toed shoes (no flip flops)
