WELCOME TO PACK 93!!!

Chartered by Oakmont Presbyterian Church, Pack 93 has been serving the Hoover community since 1967.

Our pack is a very active group of 1st through 5th grade boys, primarily from Gwin Elementary and Green Valley Elementary Schools, although we do have (and welcome) boys from other schools.

Boys join Cub Scouting for excitement, to be with friends and to have fun.  But “having fun” includes more than just actually having a good time.  It also means feeling accepted by a group, regardless of race, class, religion, culture, or any other elements.  Everyone is welcome to join Pack 93 and experience the wonderful world of Scouting.

Since its inception in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has helped develop more than 110 million youth and adults into successful citizens and community leaders.  From politics to industry to community pioneers, Scouts have succeeded at all levels of their lives.  But our tradition doesn’t stop there – the BSA has a 100-year strong foundation, but it continues to evolve – to be relevant to today’s youth and to the communities it serves.

I say with great pride that we are Pack 93, the Cub Scouts of America! We are committed to giving young people the tools, knowledge, experiences, and faith to make the world a better place.  Our mission and purpose is simple:  It is to build the character and integrity of America’s youth and help prepare them to become responsible young men.
